Be-cause health is the global health platform that connects organisations and experts in Belgium and internationally, and stimulates collaboration.
Be-cause health can make pictures or recordings during its activities. For specific activities, consent for the use of your picture will be asked via the registration form and/or at the start of a recording. If people pose willingly for a camera during one of our activities, we will regard this as consent to have the picture taken. Participants can always request the photographer not to be photographed recognisably. We may use the resulting imagery for communication purposes of Be-cause health. For specific publications, a written consent will be requested. (Speakers will consent to use of imagery and their presentation via a specific speaker agreement.)
Images of Be-cause health activities can be used on the website, the social media channels (Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn), its newsletters, and digital & print promotion material for the network in general and future activities. If a participant notices they are pictured recognisably in an image or recording, and is not comfortable with this, they can ask at any moment to remove or adapt digital images, and object to its future use by sending an email to becausehealth@itg.be and a description of the picture and where it is found (e.g. with a screenshot or a link). The request will be treated as soon as possible.
We may update our Image Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically.
