13/10/2026 Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Belgium – 2026 Symposium: Herders’ March & Pastoralism The annual symposium of Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Belgium will have a very special format this year: it will mark the arrival of the Belgian section of the European Herders’ March. From 28 September to 13 October, Belgian herders Toon and Johan Schouteden will cross Belgium with a flock of 300 sheep, travelling from Achelse Kluis to Brussels. Together with their partners*, they aim to deliver a strong message in support of pastoralists, rangelands and extensive livestock keeping. Read more
