Elies Van Belle is a public health doctor and General Director of the Belgian ngo Memisa, an organisation active in international cooperation in health with a focus on strenghtening fragile health systems in Africa. She has an extensive experience in Primary Health Care Programs in Africa and in Asia. She was the former chairperson of the Be-cause health steering committee.
