Patricia St Louis

Patricia St Louis is a FNRS research fellow and scientific collaborator at the Research Centre on Health Policies and Systems – International Health (ULB). She is an internal medicine physician who worked in Haiti for over ten years. Patricia also earned a master’s degree in public health from Université libre de Bruxelles (2021). Her current doctoral research focuses on health system resilience building and strengthening processes in Caribbean small island developing states (SIDS), namely Haiti and Saint Lucia. Alongside her doctoral work, Patricia volunteers as a volunteer physician for disadvantaged migrant communities in Brussels. Her expertise lies in Health care and services, Health policies and systems, with a primary focus on Health system resilience in fragile and conflict-affected settings. Patricia strongly believes that now is the time to move from caution to tangible action.
