Aloysius is a professional with proven experience in public health and humanitarian work who has experience working with non-profit organisations and the UN. He supported and mentored a 20-year Basic Health Care Support Program run by the West Bengal Voluntary Health Association of India in five districts of West Bengal, India, with funding from Memisa Belgium and DGD Belgium. Aloysus served in managerial and leadership roles for IOM-UN and four other international organisations, with an emphasis on South-Asia, South-East Asia and the MENA region.
