Charlot Diepvens

As of September 2021, Charlot is pursuing a PhD in business economics at the KU Leuven. The PhD is positioned at the Access-To-Medicines Research Centre and supported by the Janssen Pharmaceutica Research Chair on pandemic Preparedness. Charlot is applying a systems approach to pandemic preparedness, with a particular interest in governance and health inequities. Previously, she received an inter-university master’s degree in Global Health, with a focus on policies, and a master’s degree in Business Engineering, with a focus on technology, at the KU Leuven. She participated in extracurricular activities such as internships at the development agency of Belgium, Enabel, and the Federal Public service for health in Belgium. She has engaged in various other activities, including an Honours Program Trans-disciplinary Insights, as well as liaison of events such as Health Sciences Crossing Borders 2021 or the Master Global Health Seminar 2021, while volunteering for six years in a youth movement.
