Jean Michel Kolié is an Assistant to the IT Service of the National Rural Health Training and Research Centre in Maferinyah, Guinea-Conakry. He obtained a Bac+4 qualification in Information Technology Methods Applied to Company Management (French acronym: MIAGE) and is currently studying for a Masters 1 in MIAGE. He undertook a short course in “Blended e-learning” at the Tropical Medicine Institute, followed by a more long-term supporting role at the TMI in setting up an online learning platform (moodle) at the Maferinyah Centre. Jean-Michel is currently responsible for managing the moodle platform. He is charge of uploading all documents and video recordings of lessons and supervises participants as they learn and complete the various modules.
